Abstract

This project is aimed at developing a web based Leave Management. The Leave application is an Intranet (a local communications network) based application that can be accessed throughout the organization and a specified group/Dept. This system can be used to automate the workflow of leave applications and their approvals. The periodic crediting of leave is also automated. There are features like notifications, cancellation of leave, automatic approval of leave, report generators etc in this Tool.
Admin and student are playing the important role throughout this project. In this project two people plays the admin role. One is principal and another person is staff. The staff sends the leave application to the principal and same process for the student to the staff. Once the leave application is accepted by the principal to staff or staff to student means that message forward to the staff or student through their respective E-Mail and SMS. E-Mail and SMS process is used to deliver the data to the receiver very fast and efficient way.
