Fall detection system and Body positioning with Heart Rate Monitoring

Ultraviolet sterilization system with UV Lamp Failure Detection And monitoring over internet of things(IOT)

Abstract:

With the proliferation of Internet of Things (IoT) devices such as smartphones, sensors, cameras. It is possible to collect massive amount of data for localization and tracking of Railway Fault Detection.

Objective

This project is incorporated with a famous company Pharmasia which is linked with Himalaya products. The main objective of this project is to purify the water using UV (ultraviolet) rays.

Methodology

The wavelength of UV rays is shorter than the violet end of the visible spectrum but longer than the X-ray. The band width of UV rays is 10nm to 400nm. UV in the very shortest range (next to X-rays) is capable even of ionizing atoms (see photoelectric effect), greatly changing their physical behavior. At the middle range of UV, UV rays cannot ionize but can break chemical bonds, making molecules to be unusually reactive.

Expected output

In this project water is allowed to pass through a UV tube which purifies the water by killing the bacteria. This process is known as UV sterilization. But we can’t see the UV rays with our naked eyes, because it is beyond the visible spectrum. So we are placing an UV light sensor in UV tube which detects the UV rays. Thus when ever the UV lamp fails to generate the UV rays then a buzzer will be blown. Here buzzer and UV light sensor are interfaced by micro-controller. Hence we can get the purified water all the time. The project has been approved by WHO (world health organization).

This project uses regulated 5v, 500mA power supply. 7805, a three terminal voltage regulator is used for voltage regulation. Bridge type full wave rectifier is used to rectify the ac output of secondary of 230/12v step down transformer.
